Commercial
A hail and wind event can cause significant damage to a commercial roof. In most cases repair or replacement is covered by commercial insurance policies. Commercial roofing can be complex with eight major families of commercial roofing systems: steep slope, built-up roofs (BUR), modified bitumen, metal, roof coatings, foam, thermoplastic single-ply membranes (TPO and PVC) and thermoset single-ply membranes such as EPDM.
Each commercial roofing system has its own performance characteristics and distinct advantages. Republic Roofing provides the expertise necessary to remove, replace or repair any of these roof systems. Our knowledge and experience enables us to evaluate your facility's particular roofing characteristics and effectively recommend roofing solutions that will meet your needs.

Commercial Roof Services
• Modified Bitumen
• Built-up roofing systems (BUR) consists of
layers or plies of roofing felts, between which
asphalt or bitumen is applied.
• Single-Ply Roof Systems
• TPO Roofing Systems (ThermoPlastic Olefin)
combine the long-term durability rubber
provides with the security of hot air welded
seams.
• EPDM (Ethlyene Propylene Diene
Terpolymer) is a stable roofing alternative
that withstands extremes of temperature
and expands and contracts with the building.
• PVC Roofing Systems are among the easiest
single-ply roofing membranes to install and
heat-weld together.
• Metal Roofing Systems
•Architectural metal panel roof systems shed
water and are intended for use on steep-slope
roofs.
•Structural metal panel roof systems are used
on both low- and steep-slope roofs.
•Architectural Sheet Metal
•Architectural Sheet Metal is a specialized type
of metal roofing, typically involving steep slopes
or radius roofs. These roofs feature custom
fabricated sheet metal flashing and trim.
•Types of metals, ranging from pre-finished
galvanized steel and aluminum to copper,
stainless steel, lead and coated copper.
